Ready to Make A Difference? Become A Puppy Socialiser!

Love, Nurture & Keep them Safe!

These are the three simple guidelines we have for our volunteer Puppy Socialisers! We ask you to love our puppies as much as we do! To nurture and guide them from 12 weeks to 20months, and finally, to keep them safe and secure within your loving family.

You’ll raise one of our beautiful puppies, providing the love and care they need to grow into confident assistance dogs. All food and vet bills are covered and holiday cover is organised if required.

This is Seamus, my current DFD pup, and fourth overall. Labradors Mick and Ollie are now busily working as qualified assistance dogs and making huge differences in their young partners lives, and Golden Retriever Robert is progressing well in his advanced training. It has been a fun and very rewarding experience for me raising pups for Dogs for the Disabled and playing a small part in preparing these dogs for the wonderful work they will do. The support and guidance that the charity provides is brilliant, and I would heartily recommend taking one of these puppies into your home and giving it a great start in life”
