Our Future

Jennifer Dowler, Founder & CEO

“We listen, we care and everything we do, we do from our hearts. We are determined to make a positive impact in the lives of those who come to us”

It all began with a dream….

The ink is just drying on the contract we signed for our forever home, a dream we have worked towards for many years in order to secure the future of Dogs for the Disabled and those who rely on us.

Our new home, on a beautiful 11 acre site on the outskirts of Cork City, will serve as a safe, comfortable and inspiring training base for children and adults across Ireland to meet and train with their new assistance dogs before returning home together.

Most importantly, we can now grow and reduce our 3 year waiting list by breeding and training more dogs at our new headquarters.

The property requires COMPLETE RENOVATION

Every donation we receive moves us one step closer to reaching our goals. This is why your donation is so important to us!

Can YOU donate your skills or services?

As we work through restoration plans and the planning process before our BIG build begins, we are gathering a database of skilled and dedicated craft and tradespeople to help us achieve our goals.

Dreams really can come true…
